Our CHurch Community will continue to be a people of grace and Blessings

So that God’s love may be known by all,

we,

inspired by the Holy Spirit,

joyfully share this love.

The St. James congregation has a mission statement that helps us live as the people God calls us to be. Decisions regarding "openings and closures" will be made through Council based on facts from legitimate sources. Decisions around communion are entrusted to the Pastor and Sacristan by Council. Decisions about the building are entrusted to Property leadership by Council.

We are a tech-capable congregation, most members are computer savvy and there are buddy systems in place for those who are not tech-capable. We can be in ministry to one another and our neighbours through live-stream, audio recording, blogs, online and with an abundance of care and caution - in person. We are a people connected to our wider community through deep and long-standing relationships including connection to our larger church bodies (Eastern Synod and ELCIC) as well as our neighbours (Ministerial, Township, BIA, Inter-faith Grand River, Haldimand Tract Ecumenical Partnership). . .

Being Who We Are

In all times and in all places we remember that the gifts of God are for all the people of the world and for the care of the world and cosmos itself. We are a population of elderly and also young members ranging from 4 years old to people in mid-90's. We will work together to be the best witnesses we can be to the love that we have received by grace.
