Since 1866 the congregation has welcomed Christmas with the telling of the birth of Jesus by the children of the congregation. All children who attend are welcome to join in the re-enactment. No rehearsals needed.
"O Come All Ye Faithful" and come also those who have never heard of the birth of Jesus before. St. James is the only Church in the Village of St. Jacobs with a worship service on Christmas Day. Everyone is welcome to worship.
On this First Sunday of Christmas we forego a sermon for a story and sing out our joy and praise. Hymn requests are encouraged!
